Systems level integration of hybrid microsensors designed for high temperatures environments.

Approach

  • Design novel heterogeneous micromechanical joints and alignment features that maintain precision and integrity at extremely high temperatures and during thermal cycling.
  • Derive material set and precision targets from system performance specifications.
  • Robotic assembly of microscale components to realize desired complexity and precision.
